PCDL1000 is a premium polycarbonate diol with a number-average molecular weight of 1000, widely recognized as a core polyol raw material for high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), PU adhesives, coatings and synthetic leather.
Benefiting from its unique carbonate linkage structure, PCDL1000 delivers outstanding comprehensive performance compared with conventional polyether and common polyester polyols. It endows finished PU materials with excellent hydrolysis resistance, thermal stability, chemical resistance, UV resistance and superior mechanical strength, including high tensile strength and stable elongation. Its narrow molecular weight distribution and low acid value bring stable reaction activity and friendly processing window for PU formulation engineers.
This grade fits perfectly for manufacturing high-end TPU films, hydraulic hoses, industrial sealing parts, shoe material adhesives, water-based PU dispersions (PUD) and electronic protective coatings. For adhesive makers, PCDL1000 helps improve bonding durability under humid, hot and corrosive working conditions, solving the pain point of premature failure of ordinary polyester-based PU adhesives.
